Everyone that has met Rosie knows that she has a massive love of all things Harry Potter, so when Beauty And The Beast was announced for the first time with Emma Watson as Belle, it was all Rosie could talk about. And after reading reviews and watching trailers, a certain 15 year-old male also started to get excited. So when the film finally came out in our local cinema, we just had to go. Well. Rosie just had to go, and I said I’d love to go along. At 3:30pm, we walked over to Lippo Mall near our house, assuming that 30 minutes was more than enough time to buy tickets. I went up to the cinema on the top floor while Rosie went to Hypermart in the basement to buy snacks. When I went to buy the tickets, I found that the entire cinema was packed. There were not many choice seats left over, so I chose two seats on the far right of the second row, which was the best seats I could get for us. Kind of reeky, but the next showing was at 5:30pm, so we had to take them. Rosie showed up and we bought two iced lemon teas, then went into the theatre. The seats weren’t too bad, and we got into the cinema mood by laughing at the cheesy commercials for Indonesian movies, and chatting about the film, until the lights dimmed. I don’t want to spoil the film for those who haven’t seen it, but I will say that it was excellent. The casting was awesome, and the cinematography was stunning. We both loved it to bits, and would highly recommend it to all. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
